Welcome to Cigar Steward!
Here are a few suggestions of what you can do to help get you started:
Track
Keep track of what you own in “My Humidor” which can be found under the “My Cigar Steward” tab. You can also record notes and
ratings on smokes that you’ve liked and disliked, for future reference. Just start by clicking on “add a
cigar” to get started. To get
additional information about a cigar you’ve added and to add notes and a rating
simply click on the plus sign to the left of the cigar listing.
Explore
You can learn about new cigars by
clicking on the explore tab. You
can start by choosing to see what others in the community enjoy, by looking at
the most owned and most highly rated cigars. Or you can search by brand or cigar, it is up to you.
You an also keep track of new cigars you want to try as you explore – simply click on “add to wishlist” as you go along, and those cigars will be added to your
wish list under the “My Cigar Steward” tab. And soon, we will offer Cigar Steward Suggests, which will utilize
technology similar to that used at popular internet shopping sites to predict
cigars you might enjoy based on your ratings to-date.
Swap
If you desire, you can swap cigars with other folks in the community. All you have to do is sign-up for
trading under the “Cigar Swap” tab in “My Cigar Steward”. We will compare the cigars you chose
to make available for swapping in “My Humidor” and those that you want for your
“Wishlist” to those of others in the community. Our software takes it for there. If there is a match and both parties are interested in pursuing the swap,
you both will receive an email with each other’s contact information. We make the initial introduction,
and it is then up to you to finalize the quantities and logistical details from
there. You can see more complete

Swap” tab.
Communicate
Share tips and tricks, likes and dislikes in the “Forum” tab. Cigar Steward is a community-driven
site. So improvements and new
features will be determined entirely by the community of users. So be sure to spend some time
letting us know what would make this a better site for you. We are counting on your feedback
to determine the future direction of Cigar Steward.
A word about Bugs
While we’ve done our
best to offer a great internet experience, there inevitably are some bugs that
we didn’t catch. So if you come across any problems, please take the time to let us know either through the
“submit a bug” link found at the bottom of every page, or through the forum. We can only improve the site if
community members like you help us learn how to make it better.
We hope that Cigar Steward adds a bit to the delight of smoking a good cigar.
