I loved this cigar. Rich and leathery with a little bit of a spicy finish. Very well made, burned evenly and not too much smoke. Clip instead of punching.

I was a little leery about trying this cigar, but the quality of the Torano name won out. Boy was I surprised! It was smooth, burned perfectly and tasted beautifully. It's flavor was complex and shifted from a fine cranberry-chocolate to an oak-like wood. I punched this one and it was perfect. Clipping might open it up too much. You HAVE to try this cigar.

I think that this is my favorite of the Ashton Maduro line. Not favorite as in I love to smoke them, but favorite as in if there were only Ashton Maduros to choose from I would pick up the corona-sized one. The smaller ring gauge helps get the one flavor across and the flavor almost gets there! After every puff I knew the flavor was going to be there the next time. But you can never catch it. You just keep puffing away and you can never catch the flavor.

I have been smoking this particular cigar for nearly 20 years, and it is still my favorite. It has a soft, even draw with a light smooth smoke from a nearly completely white ash. Wrapped in a cedar sleeve, the Conn. wrapper is usually flawless and smooth. In the late 80's I paid $2.50 each, and then during the cigar boom they skyrocketed to as much as $12.50 each. Now I pay between $5 and $6 each. Mild enough for even a rookie cigar smoker, but with a quality and finish that even the most experienced smoker
